Corporate Social Responsibility

Our Employees

The dedicated men and women of APG are the heart of our organization. We're deeply committed to maintaining a safe and healthy workplace for the benefit of our employees and their families. We are devoted to building a culture of mutual trust and respect that provides sufficient opportunities for the personal growth of our people and the collective success of our team.

Our Community

We're dedicated to giving back to the communities we call home. As devoted corporate citizens, the APG family is proud to serve as leaders, coaches, volunteers, and supporters of the organizations that form the foundation of our communities.

The Environment

We strive to reduce our ecological footprint through the efficient use of energy and natural resources, continued reduction of waste, and strict compliance with federal, state and municipal laws and regulations. Our third party ISO 14001 Certificate of Registration further demonstrates our commitment to environmental excellence. Also see APG's Environmental, Health & Safety Policy.

Our culture, as evidenced by our dedication to ISO 14001 compliance, is based on a commitment to long-term sustainability in everything we do. Our raw material is derived from recycled metals; helping to reduce energy consumption and the demands on our natural resources. Our sintered metal and specialty valve offerings are on-trend with engine designs targeted to reduce emissions and improve fuel economy, while our metal injection molding technology affords metal forming capabilities with minimal to no material waste.

Quality Assurance & Certifications

Our operations are certified to critical standards, including IATF 16949, ISO-9001, and ISO-14001.

Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) serves as the foundation for our manufacturing approach. It's used to integrate concept, design, process development, and verification. Our quality planning begins with a cross-functional team comprised of quality, engineering, and manufacturing personnel who develop and implement control plans; failure mode and effects analysis; gauge correlation and repeatability tests; product launch gate reviews; process capability evaluations; and first piece, in-process, and final inspection plans.

Production part approval process (PPAP) procedures are conducted in full compliance with IATF 16949, as well as any customer-specific requirements.
